Using Adhesives for Construction
Sometimes it is not practical to fix to walls and ceilings using the traditional methods of nails and screws and most people think that glue would not be strong enough. Strong adhesives soon change that idea. High strength adhesives allow you to fix a number of items to a variety of material.
One of the biggest obstacles encountered by DIY customers is how can I fix certain items, such as rails or poles, to the wall as the concrete or metal gets in the way and prevents me from doing so? The answer lies in using adhesives to aid the cause, such as glues or sealants. For example, it may be appropriate to glue a piece of timber to the wall when it seems impossible to screw into a wall or soffit. Then it may be possible to fix rails or poles into the timber.
